As a member of the team, you will be given great opportunities to dramatically expand our current program by building great new features to enhance our existing destinations and creating new experiences for new types of entities.  You will be able to apply your passion and knowledge in creating scalable systems that are flexible enough to cater to specific entity types but scale across millions of entities, across multiple categories and countries.  You will also have opportunities to create unique UI experiences that delight our customers and raise the bar for shopping on Amazon.com.

We're looking for engineers who have a passion for customers and building experiences that make shopping on Amazon.com fun and enjoyable.  This position requires a BS in CS or engineering or equivalent experience, and to be successful you'll need to have strengths in Java/OO development, customer focus, working with databases, scripting languages (i.e. Perl, Ruby), web development (i.e. AJAX and web services) and possess excellent communication skills.  We use the Scrum agile development methodology and prefer candidates who can thrive in a fast paced, high energy and fun work environment where we deliver value incrementally and frequently.  If this sounds like a team that you want to be a part of, you should apply now.
