SUMMARY
The Collaboration Engineer will be responsible for acting as a client liaison for all technical requests, projects, and strategic initiatives with some guidance from Senior Engineers and Management. Additional responsibilities include reporting on assigned client accounts, as well as routine contact with appropriate IT personnel within the client’s organization. As needed, individual will act as third level support on reported incidents in the client environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Perform monthly reporting for each assigned client.

Assists in onboarding new clients as assigned.

Through continuous review, ensures all open incidents for assigned clients are being worked to resolution; escalates any aged issues to management as needed.

Assist in development and delivery of project / OAI activity in client environments as delegated by Senior Engineers and / or Management.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. One year of specialized technical training in computer science or microcomputer maintenance/repair, networking, or operating systems, and one year experience installing, configuring, and maintaining microcomputers and peripherals, and assisting others with hardware/software problems in a work setting. Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE 2003 or MCITP) preferred (Concentration in Messaging) or certification may be obtained within 6 months of starting in role. Another combination of the above education and experience requirements may be considered in some cases.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Understand Networking topology and connectivity (TCP/IP). Strong Microsoft Windows and Office skills/experience. Ability to work in a 24x7x365 department. Strong Exchange Server skills including related areas as they pertain to managing an Exchange environment. Experience with SMTP, Relay hosting and Internet messaging environments.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

· Works in well lighted/ventilated office area, with some changes of temperature, as well as throughout the premises. Associate will spend majority of the time indoors
· Prolonged sitting at a computer with some standing and bending intermittently during work hours
· Is subject to frequent interruptions
· Ability to move arms, hands and fingers to type
· Close vision required for computer monitors
· The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
